My parents acquired several of these old books by Elizabeth Gordon, and other authors that were written from 1915-1935, I suppose for my much older siblings (I'm 52). However, I remember all of the old books by Elizabeth Gordon and others, but I especially loved the Rhymes for Kindly Children. I'm in the process of acquiring alot of these old treasures, and I'm thrilled to find this website! Since I'm expecting my first granddaughter, I'm hoping to purchase several of you cards to frame in her new bedroom in my house. Thanks!

Such an interesting site, I specially love old children's books. They seemed designed to not only amuse, but teach good manners and guide young people along a happy and right pathway, to appreciate all that is beautiful, wise, helpful and kind! Thank you for sharing this with us all! We need to remember the good ways of old days, as well as embracing the best of todays changing world.
Spread a little sunshine! Shirley
