I have answered you in more detail via a direct email. If you have not received it please go to the bookstore (zephyrusbooks.com) and conact me directly.

A lot will depend upon condition of the book, and the number of actual plates in good or better condition. Complete first editions are very valuable, but as you have only a part of it it is difficult to offer anything more precise without a direct appraisal of the volume. I not usually offer appraisals through the bookstore, but will help people via OldBookArt for no charge, especially if I can borrow the images to post on this site to share for free with other people.

Any appraisals I do offer are done so in a manner to avoid conflicts of interest, and will comply with the IOBA code of ethics (http://www.ioba.org/code.html). This means I will not offer to buy a book from you based on my own appraisal without fully informing you of all possible ways to sell your property to bring the best possible value to you.

I have a copy of Roberts Sketches of Egypt and Nubia by William Brockedon, lithographed by Louis Haghe, part viii. The prints are in reasonable condition but the cover is damaged. I wondered whether you have any information you could give me and a rough valuation. Many thanks.
