A Slow Transformation (Updated)

Well, now everything actually has been transferred to the Gallery, including about 100 “orphaned” images I found on my site which had not been linked to previously.

Please continue to give me any feedback about how this new site looks to and works for you. I appreciate all input and will continue to tweak things to make it work better. I have added a translator box now which I hpe will help any non-English reading guests. I will “de-stickify” this post soon.

We are home from NZ, Australia, Fiji, etc. Went to your recommended bookstore in Melb. Bought a book on Australian birds. Didn’t see your friend. Left message with your regards. How are “birds on a stick:” coming?

Unfortunately, due to excessive spamming, we have had to limit registration and comments. Please contact directly with any feedback or concerns.

The Mission of Old Book Art

To provide free illustrations, pictures, drawings, maps and other images, most of which we have scanned from antiquarian, public-domain books and other old documents. We have over 4,700 images in our gallery with more added regularly. Any image on this site or the gallery site may be downloaded for free. We will also screen and provide links to other high quality resources, including sites which offer larger versions of our images for a fee. Some of the links on this site are to sites that charge for images, and for some of those sites we may receive compensation as a referral fee, or a royalty if it is a larger image from this site for sale.
